Designing Samsung S Pen body with FreeCAD
I Broke my S pen a little while ago, made the enclosure with FreeCAD

Like every person who wears specs and has this legendary habit of not checking where they are before crashing into bed, i’ve not only crushed my glasses multiple times, but recently leveled up and broke my S Pen.
Original Pen costs about 4k, knockoffs at 1.5k
Nope.
I designed the body in FreeCAD. I got lucky the section where pen cracked was just above a small microcontroller, if the crack was few mm below pcb would crack and pen is useless. Perhaps Samsung shoud look into it and finish the entire pcb section as close as possible to the tip. As pen is long chances of break is in the middle, atleast tip and pcb will be safe, but why woudld they? ;)
I kept it simple just a body and a cap with screw thread. I insert both pieces inside and tightened the cap, tension holds the broken pieces together and tip comes out, works just fine. Even the magnet latch works fine too.
All that remains now is to sand, prime and paint the pen make it look good and smooth as new.
I didn’t design the button, I never used the button so didn’t bother to add a mechanism for it. Perhaps with some effort that can also be done.

Print settings:
PETG
- 100% infill
- 0.08 mm layer height, 0.2mm nozzle/0.4mm
- 3–4 perimeters for pen body
- print cap vertically
- pen body has one flat side place that on bed
- No supports inside
- Add a small support on underside of cone side alone of pen_body
